The shared gardens and collective covered place brought the new complex in the Florastraat-Terlostraat alive. The old warehouse was turned into different types of lofts. It was important to preserve the rough industrial character and to keep its original attraction. The lofts’ spacious outside areas face south. The passive houses and apartments are raised above street level for privacy and are not only accessible from the street but have a secondary entrance through the common inner areas. They have a private and common outside spaces facing different directions, and creating a connection in the whole development.
